Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel

Wonderful location, property and staff.

Liked: The room was large and well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the location on the water with the great waterfront patio with restaurant and bar. The hotel amentities and grounds were very nice. And the staff was very kind and friendly. It was nice to have the coffee service on each floor in the morning, too. The hotel was withing walking distance to everything in Watkins Glen, restaurants, shops, and even the park.
Disliked: This was the more pricey of the places we stayed in the Finger Lakes, but it provided value for that spend. The only thing we didn't like was leaving.

Liked: The breakfast and the outdoor settings was fantastic! We love the very clean and well decorated rooms and the quality of the sheets. We love the little patios. We love the fire pits! We have stayed her about 5 times over 20 years and your hotel always makes me feel happy and relaxed. Alwayvexcellent staff willing to please.
Disliked: Everything was great!

Disappointing.

Liked: Location, nice pool.
Disliked: The room was located above large garbage bins and a noisy AC unit. The AC made loud noise throughout the day and night, and early each morning a garbage truck came by, causing additional disturbance right outside the window. The price of the room does not reflect the level of discomfort we experienced. In addition, the lighting in the room kept flickering, and the hairdryer was broken.We raised our concerns with the front desk, but the staff member was unfriendly and dismissive, simply saying the hotel was full and there was nothing to be done—despite the fact that we had booked the room well in advance. It seemed the staff was aware of the issue but indifferent to it.

Liked: Just a beautiful location! Comfortable, great patio, bar and restaurant and friendly , accommodating staff.
Disliked: Our room was nice but it was above loading dock so heard trash men and deliveries some days.
