Nice hotel room, grumpy staff.

Liked: The room was spacious, comfortable bed. Overnight cross country stop, we didn’t gamble. Wish we had booked a balcony over looking river. Great view of River from patio, but exterior door was not functioning and was LOCKED.
Disliked: The front desk agent was the least hospitable person I’ve encountered on our cross country trip. Her one word answers and her scowl made the check in process seem awkwardly long and uncomfortable. While I understand people have bad days or personal issues. This was my first stop in Mississippi and I was underwhelmed by the greeting and service I received. We felt like our presence was an inconvenience.

Budget concious, clean n tidy

Liked: Good clean facilities, great for the price. Comfortable beds . Fridge, coffee maker. Ironing board but no iron??? Friendly front desk on day shift.
Disliked: Staff on afternoon shift...surly, no access to pool area or any walkway along the river.
