In a beautiful estate just outside Wakefield Waterton Park Hotel features a golf course spa and a leisure center . Just 10 minutes from the M1 the hotel has free Wi-Fi. The elegant bedrooms at Waterton are located in either Walton Hall on the island or in Waterton Park Hotel on the main land directly opposite the old hall. Family wedding

Liked: The setting for the wedding we attended was perfect.
Disliked: For the money we paid we were a bit disappointed with our room. It was a bit tired looking and could do with updating.

It would not be difficult...

Liked: Exceptional room, quiet and peaceful setting despite a wedding.
Disliked: Bar in leisure area. Unclear as to use. Was told in no uncertain terms by spa staff to go across to the grand cafe bar, we were not able to use leisure center. Told opposite information at main reception.

Very overpriced for 1 night,...

Liked: Good wedding venue, old and quiet
Disliked: No lift in the building Lake side, found it to be a shared venue as other guests were in the Hot Tubs ( using the Spa facility ) while surrounding wedding party was all around them

Staff good but this establishment...

Liked: Great location- friendly staff
Disliked: Odd arrangement for residents to use pool facilities- 7-9 free and then £15 - to find that the pool is busy between 7-9 with members so not good for anyone really. Bed hard and uncomfortable- room felt dingy and in the need of attention.
