Watersmeet Hotel is a luxury four-star hotel with spectacular sea views in one of the finest coastal locations in the Westcountry. The hotel overlooks Combesgate Beach and North Devon's rugged coastline with its own private steps down to the sandy beach. It has free WiFi and a restaurant with sea views. Nearly all bedrooms at Watersmeet Hotel have a sea view and some have a balcony or terrace. A great holiday break in...

Liked: Hotel is situated on the coastline, my daughter and I had a magnificent view of the cliffs and bay, a view to cherish. Our room was everything we required. Breakfast was excellent and very enjoyable as the seating area again gave us a panoramic view. All the hotel staff were courteous efficient and very pleasant. If in the area again we would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to family and friends.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like. This hotel has it all.

brilliant - the staff were...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and the staff were absolutely lovely and hard working :) The view - we had a beautiful located bedroom with an amazing view and always had an excellent view no matter what table we sat at on meal times.
Disliked: No comment

False Upgrade

Liked: Location, pleasant, and helpful staff.Dinning room and food.Nice selection of bath potions.Lovely sea view.We like the amalgamation of the bistro and restaurant menus.
Disliked: Being told they had upgraded the room when we arrived, and as far as I could tell, it was exactly what I had booked.It would have been nice to be able to open the bottom windows. If you open the top, you have to get on a stool to close them.The shower was over the bath and whilst nice and powerful it could have done with a hand rail when getting out.The breakfast bread was a bit lack lustre, although this is common even in the better hotels.
