Liked: We love this place! This was the second time we stayed here, a repeat of our spring break trip last year. This time, my daughter joined the previous group of my teenage granddaughter and friend and my 8-year-old grandson and me.First of all, the apartment is perfect! It has a LARGE open kitchen/dining/living room with sofa bed and two spacious bedrooms and baths to one side. There is also a balcony that can be accessed both from the living room and one of the bedrooms.The facilities at the resort are great, too. There is a heated pool with a basketball hoop on one side of the lagoon and adjacent to the main lodge, there is a larger unheated pool, a hot tub, a ping pong table, and a large connect four game. You can get tokens at the desk for food to feed the turtles from the bridge across the lagoon. There are also alligators in the lagoon. In fact, a mama alligator had just hatched 7 babies while we were there, but they had to make sure no one got too close to her.There is no restaurant on the property, but you don't need one because you're only steps away from the restaurants at Coligny Plaza and along the main road (Pope Ave.). There's also a large grocery store (Piggly Wiggly) at Coligny Plaza along with lots of shops and fun things for kids to do.You're also an easy walk to the beach, but if you have things to carry, like our rented umbrella and chairs, you can call the free shuttle. There is also a fabulous playground across Pope Ave called Lowcountry Celebration Park. My grandson even found some school friends here by chance!
Disliked: We loved it all! The perfect apartment in the perfect location!

Disliked: Main pool water is cold and there’s no where to go if you want a quiet pool. They need to put all toys and basketball at the main pool and leave the 5800 building pool as a quiet pool. No ice machines

Disliked: Needs to be updated . Musky smelling carpet , stuffy room , the property had some trees down with a green pond the upkeep could be a lot better.

Liked: The room was amazing with alot of space for our family. The location is great to shops and the beach. Also had great things throughout the day to do at the pools.
Disliked: The gym could be upgraded a bit to small for use. Would love to either have another hot tub or bigger one ( always super busy). Also maybe the big pool be heated as well.

Liked: First off let me start by saying that my husband and myself have been coming to this resort for many, many years. My parents were owners at first and then we rented our own condo once we outgrew my parent's. The location is great and one reason we keep coming back to this resort. We also enjoy the size of the three bedroom condo.
Disliked: The actual facilities are very tired looking and desperately need a real update. The couch and chairs are not at all comfortable and are very dirty looking. The carpet throughout needs replaced. The tile flooring is in bad shape as well. The pools and hot tub are very dirty. The sides of them all could use a good scrubbing and need repair work as there is noticeable damage in the edges. Little updates that were made such as cutting off the top of the TV cabinet in the bedrooms and placing a glass piece on top does not count as a real update. The beds also in desperate need of replacement. The mattresses are not comfortable. Please make some real updates so we can keep coming back to our favorite resort.
