Disliked: Number of wines on the wine list not available was poorQuality of food was below what I expected

Perfectly located to break long...

Warm welcome and famtastic value...

Liked: Sue the manageress and her staff made us feel so welcome like we were regulars even though we live over 300 miles away. Such a relaxed atmosphere and friendly vibe. Food lovely , rooms comfy and cleand and great value .
Disliked: Nothing everything was perfect for our stay

Bad smell around the exterior....

Liked: Lovely staff. Location good for what I needed and breakfast in property. Bed was comfy. Nice modern furniture in bedroom.
Disliked: Really foul smell at front of property. Some brown stains on towel. Tv had very few channels, not even ITV. Lots of dust in bathroom on skirting board. Light fitting immediately above my head in bed which I knocked my head on. Only two sugar sachets so unable to have morning coffee. Paintwork very tired in hallway to bedrooms. Damaged bathroom door, marks where hanger used to be.

Great value for money, location,...

Liked: Cosy, as described and excellent location. Staff couldn’t have done anymore. Pub attached was great value for money with well cooked food and breakfast the following day.
Disliked: N/A

Short quick on route stay...

Liked: Location perfect just off the M5 on route South to Cornwall . Staff very friendly and food very nice. The price for the room is perfect for a stop off for a long journey . This is not luxoury and remember this when booking this is a lovely run pub with rooms fit for purpose clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing needed to be improved for me and my family . No doubt many a visitor will find problems but this is a norm for people looking for anything wrong. Manageress new into the pub abd turning it round and doing an amazing job
