Built in 1700 and overlooking the pier this family-run hotel is close to the town center the bus and train stations golf fishing and is 8 miles from Dover ferry port. Waterfront Hotel is a cozy period hotel with helpful friendly staff willing to help. Single double triple and family rooms are available some of which are en suite. The property has a long history as a hotel. It is thought that Admiral Nelsons crew frequented the hotel during the 1700's. Located directly in front of Deal's pier the hotel has panoramic views out to the Goodwin Sands and the coast of France. Guests are invited to relax with a coffee in the lounge and appreciate the view. The lounge Bar and some of the rooms have wonderful sea views. The hotel does not have a elevator.

Liked: It's a listed building so no lift, shared bathroom and shower not to my liking prefer my own, needs some work cracked cupboard under the sink in roomBathroom no sink to wash hands afterwards, instead hand sanitizer and paper.Quiet room, staff were friendly, breakfast good

Basic, you get what you...

Liked: Location is great with good sea views
Disliked: No loo rolls in the shared bathroom, cold water in the shower. Room not made up for my second night. A 25 minute wait to be let into the hotel on arrival ( in the afternoon) due to a note left on the front door.
