Nice get away, but would...

Liked: Location was good, cooked breakfast was good quality and fresh
Disliked: Room was very tired, in need of renovation, moldy onsuite

Cheap at least but would...

Liked: At least the bed was comfortable
Disliked: Room spartan and shared bathroom needs renovating

Disliked: Appalling state, not one corner without grime and cracking paint, peeling wallpaper, mould, sticky tables, cracked glass, stained curtains, just really shocked

Hotel best described as quirky....

Liked: Cooked to order breakfasts. Nice coffee.
Disliked: Mistakes with the food order both mornings but it was ok (included in the £90 night rate). First morning took 40 minutes to order and serve, luckily I had the time to wait. Room and en-suite dirty and poorly maintained. Shower and loo in a poor state, shower drains slowly so you are standing in water. No sound insulation so any sneeze or cough nearby is heard.

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: We thought we had booked a room in a pub but no bar open because they had lost their alcohol licence. Tables at breakfast were sticky and cutlery not very clean. Bathroom and room in general very dated and needs renovating. Only good thing really was the location and the beds were comfy.

Liked: Great location. Delicious traditional English Breakfast.

Perfect for an overnight stay
