Nice clean site in good...

Liked: Lovely view across Ullswater ( not all rooms though) and just 20min gentle walk to Pooley Bridge.
Disliked: All doors close after passing through them … bit of a pain if you’re carrying stuff from room to room!

Liked: Good location for Pooley Bridge.
Disliked: Pods are caravan quality and seriously overpriced compared to apartments (which are, admittedly, very nice), presumably because they theoretically sleep 6. They’d have to be a family and not be shy, it’s basically sharing a wooden tent in privacy level.Felt a bit aggrieved that we were expected to strip all the beds after paying so much for so little. Also, the (cheaper priced, did I mention that? 🤣) apartments had cake and Xmas crackers! None for us in the cheap seats - wait, we paid more, why didn’t we get cake!?
