Waterfoot Hotel

It’s an okay hotel.

Liked: The staff were friendly.
Disliked: Black mould and strange smell in the room. Uncomfortable bed and dirty shower head etc in bathroom.

It's fine but kinda far...

Liked: The room was big and very clean. The bed was very comfortable..the bathroom had everything you needed.
Disliked: The hotel It's actually not as close to the city of Derry as they say. It takes about 13-15 minutes drive depending on the traffic to get in the city center. Reception stuff okay but could be friendlier and nicer. The lights in the room...just ambient lights . We had people with kids next to us... plenty of kids..in more than 1 room...there was a lot of noise.. just like having a room in the middle of a nursery... terrible.. because we actually want it to rest after a long car journey..

Liked: The staff and the breakfast
Disliked: The first room smelt very stale and fusty and the second room smelt of stale smoke. The shower was very grubby as was the tiles and the soap holder.

Passable

Liked: Were it not for the staff, front desk Libby and Gemma and the lovely lady who went out of her way to find a chair for the room, I'd have rated the stay less
Disliked: Room was musty, no armchair(CF to other room) door jams on the carpet and inner door squeaks

Exceptional

The stay served its purpose

Liked: the room was comfortable, clean and value for the price paid we had dinner on arrival the starter was very good but the main course was not of the same quality, the staff were obliging and helpful.
Disliked: Room service trays with leftover food were left in the corridor all night.
