Nice just could have been...

Liked: Been there before very reasonable
Disliked: The room hadn’t been cleaned properly Tissues by the bedside and behind chest of drawers by the bed Even breakfast cereal by the headboard ( on the floor)the staff were really nice and helpful

Liked: Nice location
Disliked: 1) Bedroom only had black out curtains ,no nets for privacy ,was unable to let natural light in,had to keep curtains closed.2) air-conditioning did not work ,and heating was still in in warm weather .3) mattress was very uncomfortable, felt something sticking in my side,bumpy mattress.4) Scrambled eggs were very overcooked,grey and dry, probably leftovers from previous day!Not worth the £12 odd I paid5) no attention to detail, lights did not work on headboard ,and one of ceiling lights not working.6) No flannels in bedroom,towels too small.7) Room not properly cleaned as there was dust on clothes hanger ,dining room had cobwebs on lights above tables,did not appear very clean.8)Staff rolls not clear, at one point man on reception left desk to fill up trays with sausage.9) Tomato ketchup definitely not Heinz brand,obviously Heinz bottles filled with another brand of ketchup.10) Drinks cannisters looked dirty11) Car park was not well lit.12) At the end of our stay reception staff did not question if everything was alright,to be honest I couldn't be bothered to complain as I knew I was only staying one night and knew I would not be returning.13) Bedroom windows not secure enough.

Liked: Breakfast was good. Price of hotel was good. Staff helpful
Disliked: Some staff didn't know everything they needed or should know about where rooms ate located etc

Clean and spacious room surrounded...

Disliked: Not many staff around during the evening when arriving. Only one man in reception having to do everything.

Poor

Liked: The view. After an hour of complaining did manage to get a room for my son. We booked a triple room and got a double with a pull out single sofa bed.
Disliked: Room was not as advertised, breakfast was over priced and had to keep asking for things, staff not well presented kept talking in own language in front of customers taking calls when dealing with customers not.

Probably wouldn't reccomend and/or stay...

Disliked: No food options, all beer taps not working, no towels provided, shower didn't work. Single pane windows so room was very noisy with traffic, no curtains so was very light in the room early hours.

Liked: Rooms were a good size with a private bathroom.The beds were very comfortableThe staff are very helpful and courteous.There was a good range of reasonably priced food and drink available for room service
Disliked: I had a problem with the heating in room 28. The radiator was on all night, and I couldn't turn it down, so I opened the window.The next day, the staff gave me another room, which was perfectly comfortable

Disliked: Cleanliness of the rooms/shower - hairs in the shower, stale smell of bio in the room, holes in the ceilings, dirty grubby walls, bathroom flooring not sealed properly so tiles kept moving. It seemed like the hotel was being ran by men who had their mates over to help. Nobody in uniform so you wouldn't know who works there or not, the hotel itself looks like it was once nice but has been left to rot basically. Tried to go for a drink in the evening, but were told no beer on tap - only 3 types of bottled beer available.The breakfast was poor - bacon was thick and fatty, only scrambled egg no other options and the sausages still had skin on when chewing - very unpleasant. All food seemed to be in plastic type dishes that you helped yourself from - definitely not worth the money they charge. Coffee tasted like someone had drained the radiators.
