NYC 2021

Liked: Great location for the MOMA and Central Park South.
Disliked: A few issues withe the hotel and room, first morning we woke up to the smoke detector chirping like it needed a new battery. Told staff on our way out the door several hours later it wasn?t fixed. Finally when we returned in the evening it was fixed. The rest of our stay was very nice.

Bad. Expected better than this...

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Non-existent service. Empty mini bar (not even bottled water). No coffee machine. Only one single plastic cup for THREE occupants. Stayed for two nights and never did no one come to clean the room, not even replacing towels. Found previous occupants' hair on pillow case. If this is what they are doing to avoid human contact in case of COVID, they should have just closed the whole hotel. No contact at all, problem solved. Worse than the likes of Days Inn except for larger room. "City view" means I can look into an office building across the street and nothing else. Didn't know you need to pay extra for that.

Overall Decent Stay

Liked: Rooms were big and comfortable, staff were polite. Extremely convenient location.
Disliked: Elevators are too small and slowI was upgraded by Booking to a city view king room, but from my window there was no view.

Good night sleep but could...

Liked: The beds were soft and the pillows fluffy.
Disliked: I had found Warwick online and was excited to stay, unfortunately it did not meet the expectations of the grand hotel I saw online.I reserved a King and received two doubles for myself. (no I didn't raise it with the front desk) I had a coffee maker shell - no pot, mini fridge was empty, the sheets were upside down as there was a tag on the side where my face was. While I understand some of these are impacted by the virus, the extra care and attention to details go a long way.

Disappointing

Liked: The staff was wonderful- friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Our ?city view? room looked at a brick wall. The elevators were tiny and slow. The room was hot - a/c didn?t work. There was only one mirror in the room, over the bathroom sink. The bathroom was dark. Only 2 ice machines in the whole place and since the elevators were a nightmare, we had to walk 6 flights of stairs to get ice. Fridge in room was mini bar with a sign warning not to put anything in there. No maid service available due to Covid.

Liked: Great location, and staff was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: Our room smelled musty and it was because the carpet was wet, air conditioner didn?t work so it was super hot and humid in the room. We were able to switch rooms after 2 nights, but huge inconvenience to us and wastes our time. The elevator situation was horrible! Out of 3 elevators, most days only one was working. There were multiple times we waited 20 minutes! We were on the 18th floor and with no air conditioning in the stairwell, that wasn?t an option.

Very good

Liked: Great location. The room was clean. The staff was responsive and friendly.
Disliked: It is an old building, and the room was kind of cramped.
