Disappointed. I find much better...
Liked: Nice room, clean, nice cleaning staff,
Complimentary breakfast due to strike, nice surprise !
Disliked: Lobby reception staff: arrogant, superior. Room rate fluctuable, paid much more than planned on Booking.com without warning Payment done before I could check anything, deducted from my credit card without me agreeing/checking on it Unsuffient lobby area for all the people: when we tried to move chairs to have an unformal discussion (5 people), we have been told off by the young bar attendant (with glasses) Generally, the staff should learn that a 4 stars hotels induces, at minimum, a top service to customer, not the opposite. I have been very disappointed by the way customers ( not only me) are talked to, discarded, treated by the reception team. I did not try the food as my colleagues told me it was not good. Very cold or very hot room, hard to manage the temperture

Liked: Staff were very nice.
Disliked: Unfortunately the Chicago hotel workers were on strike. This impacted staff availability and cleaning of the room. The hotel did say this in a letter to guests. I would go back though.

suited our needs, staff was...
Liked: The location was fairly ideal for us. we needed to go to Thai consulate for my wife and was within walking distance for me. the valet parking was also quite pleasant surprise. although i did not realize would be 60 per night it was still acceptable. i suspected it would be, downtown Chicago parking not big on value. I would also like to say the chef prepared the most perfect burger i have ever eaten and i am 60 so had a few. Medium was cooked medium. 10 stars for chef. i did not even add ketchup or mustard. no dressing was required it was perfect. So was the Ruben. was also a great little Italian coffee shop café we found going from currency exchange to Thai consulate. not all can be found on you phone. it did not show up on our search.
Disliked: for some crazy reason there was this loud tribal type music on our side of building. it did end for sleeping but was rather annoying. my guess was is a neighbor with dispute and trying to harm the Warrick. but i could ignore it for amount of time we were staying which was two nights. I also did not complain to management figuring they were not happy with it either. I also wished was more variety on the menu at the restaurant, however, all our meals exceeded my expectations My walking is limited to about 4 blocks and back so not much for eateries within those parameters.
