Liked: The bed was comfy, it was very clean, the mini bar was complimentary, as were some drinks, and pastries and coffee for breakfast from the lovely little bar Gimlet. The room was gorgeous and filled with history. It was a fantastic location to walk to the main road and restaurants, and local sights such as the Fremantle jail.

Liked: It was so cool and interesting, really comfortable and a step up from a normal hotel. Would highly recommend. We went to the sister restaurant next door for dinner which was incredible. We’re from Melbourne yet this was the best Asian meal we’ve had.
Disliked: We had a family room, which has the kids in a separate room. There is a glass window from the bathroom into the kids room, and also an automatic light in the bathroom that you can’t turn off. That meant when I went to the bathroom in the night, light shone into the kids room and woke them up. Never fun to wake up kids in the night. It would be an easy fix to just have a light switch in the bathroom (that I wouldn’t turn on in the night). Seems like a small thing but such an easy fix - worth mentioning!
