Liked: The room was upgraded and had just been remodeled. Very Modern and clean
Disliked: The outside needs some love and tlc but don’t judge a book by its cover

Liked: I like the "lodge" type facilities...personal and cozy! The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Check-in was quick, and the staff was great!

Clean, quiet and close to...

Liked: We were there to attend the Cowboy Poetry event in Historic Durango and to ride the Silverton/Durango Railroad. This motel was close to the historic district, about a 5-minute drive. lt was quiet and we could park right outside our door. Definitely no frills but everything was clean.
Disliked: I really couldn't complain about anything. Like I said before, definitely no frills but it suited our needs for the short time we were there. I think the door to the unit could be a little better quality. It seemed sort of flimsy.

Liked: We loved the fact that it was “old motel”style where we parked in front of our room door!
Disliked: The prior email we received from Booking or the hotel, stated that checkin was from 2pm-7:00pm. We rushed driving and got to the motel at 5 ish and just wanted to check in and freshen up. when we got there, the sign said closed until 7pm. To me that was very unprofessional and disappointing that a front desk would close prior to all guests arriving and not leaving the ability for guests to check in. They had charged our credit card that day.

Cheaper than the other hotels...

Liked: The mini-fridge was pretty nice. The air conditioner worked well. There was hot water in the shower.
Disliked: There were many bugs in our room. The paint was peeling in several places. The bathroom fixtures were quite rusted.
