Liked: My first time at the property , always thought it was shut , but it’s a thriving Bed and Breakfast . Owner was very personable , room was lovely bed huge and slept like a log .

Comfortable and good value for...

Liked: The breakfast and central occasion.
Disliked: The bath was slow to fill and insufficient hot water.

Look past the dated property...

Liked: From the outside the property looked closed, it was. The owner came to find us, a very presant man who made this visit worthwhile, yes the proprty is a little tired and dated but the service and quality of food & drink were brilliant. preasant room equally dated but comfortable.
Disliked: We enjoyed our stay.

Liked: The room was comfortable and spotless.
Disliked: When we arrived it wasn’t clear where the entrance to the property was as it wasn’t well lit. The owner was very welcoming and gave us all the information about the room and facilities. The inn is just room only and breakfast is not available.

A great place to stay...

Liked: Very quirky b&b, host Martin was excellent couldn’t do enough for us. Great location for the three counties showground. Food was well cooked , as requested we had pre ordered the meal and this was served on time.
Disliked: Would have liked the pub to be opened earlier but appreciated there was a staffing issue. Martin did advise us of a good pub opposite.

Loved the quirkiness.
