Walker Hotel Greenwich Village

The hotel is amazing; the service is attentive as it should be, and the decor is exceptional - attention to every detail. The location is perfect for a special experience. I found it to be very comfortable, and will return.

Disliked: Had to change rooms because the AC had broken down. I had items taken from the fridge and I felt it wasn’t taken very seriously. No freebies or compensation. They don’t reply to emails which isn’t helpful.

Location, vibe, friendly staff, modernity

Liked: excellent location. Fantastic breakfast. Recommend springing for a view of the Empire State if the budget allows. Staff were wonderful. Love the deco theme.
Disliked: Our room was oddly musty and it was hard to determine the origin of the smell. The staff was incredibly accommodating and kindly brought us a freestanding AC but I wouldn’t have wanted to spend too many hours in the room itself.

The view of New York...

Liked: We loved the location of the property and planned out trip accordingly. The breakfast in the Society Café restaurant was delicious and the menu was fantastic. We enjoyed walking the short distance to Soho to see the cast-iron buildings and NoMad in particular. Our meal in Da Andrea’s right across the road from the hotel late in the evening was a highlight as was a visit to Blue Note jazz club. We will be back again soon to stay in the Walker Hotel Greenwich Village.
Disliked: The hotel was comfortable and stylish so we had no complaints.
