Very good

Very comfortable and convenient stay...

Liked: Great breakfast (as an addition). Comfortable bed and room. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Superb location for railway station, lake boats and city centre.
Disliked: Room was had an odd layout and might have been more characterful.

Liked: Very happy that we chose Waldstatterhof as our stay at Lucerne. It is a fabulous hotel and Noraly was amazing. We were given a room upgrade. The hotel was spotless clean, room was spacious, sound proof and had a great mattress and pillows. The breakfast was sumptuous. Very centrally located and has all the new facilities while being a heritage building. Amazing place
Disliked: The shower could have had more space and it will make it more comfortable.

Liked: This is an excellent hotel in a good location by the railway station, with just a short walk into the centre. Very friendly and professional staff - I was given the room very early when I simply expected to drop off my suitcase. Very good price for Switzerland.

Wonderful base in Lucerne

Liked: Conveniently located hotel, just over the road from the railway station, with its train, bus and ferry connections and multiple food outlets (including Tibits, an excellent vegetarian buffet). Heritage facade, but modern inside. Lovely staff. Spacious and very clean bedroom (divided from en suite bathroom by a translucent sliding door that did not quite close). Fridge and coffee maker in room, and kettle available from Reception. Electric black-out blinds on main window, which we discovered when experimenting with light switches beside door. Plenty of power outlets for charging phones and laptops. Our room faced a courtyard and was very quiet, even with the windows open at night. Breakfast was good, though staff struggled a bit to keep dishes restocked and it would have been nice to have had plain muesli rather than a chocolate one. Online check out meant that we could simply drop our keys at Reception when leaving. Overall, a very good experience and I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and the helpfulness of its staff.
Disliked: Shower over bath was slippery underfoot, and the water temperature fluctuated rapidly between too hot and completely cold. Pillows far too thick for comfort (though we could probably have asked for different ones).
