Waldorf Montparnasse

A treat after arriving early...

Liked: Convenient location for traveling to/ from Gare Montparnasse. Check out at noon without having to negotiate. Decent breakfast, interesting hotel decoration
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Deep bathtub. Needs a grab bar for older travelers.

A great place to stay...

Liked: The breakfasts were very nice and the hosts were fantastic. The location is on a fairly main road, but around the corner is a fantastic area for food & there are also markets on a Sunday. A short walk to a choice of two metro stations.

Exceptional

We arrived and were insulted....

Disliked: The reception lady was seriously rude. The shower was madness (picture provided). The cleaner was way too early - by several hours (8:20 am , while the door was locked). The fridge doesn’t work (we complained and were told it was normal - seriously - don’t buy food, it doesn’t work).

Overall not a great place

Disliked: Fridge was not cold.Staff were rude.Rooms were small.Drain in sink was blocked.

Comfortable but not luxurious.

Liked: The location was perfect for our travel and sight seeing. The view of the top of the Eiffel Tower at night was lovely from the 6th floor room. The staff were very helpful booking taxis for us and we appreciated that greatly.
Disliked: We booked two rooms for our family. The family room toilet was blocking up and the 6th floor room fridge didn't work. Staff were accommodating but the issues couldn't be rectified immediately.
