With good transport links to Wakefield and Leeds The Lodge is a perfect location for those all important getaways. Good

Liked: There was a terrible smell in the bathroom, probably the drains. The hotel was OK but needs a bit of an upgrade. That said I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Ok for a budget night...

Liked: Quiet spot. Good off road parking. Friendly staff. Lots of hot water.
Disliked: Didn't realise they didn't do breakfast. Needed a deep clean and a lick of paint but ok for a night.

Value for money for a...

Liked: Room was quite spacious. Bed was comfortable and facilities adequate. Towels nice and crispy!
Disliked: Lights in bathroom were not working well enough to have a shave.
