Liked: really lovely and as someone who has a hard time settling in and feeling at ease when staying in hotels, I had no issues with that here.

Unbelievable

Liked: Nothing booked for 2 nights stayed reluctantly for one
Disliked: Everything from no hot water no toaster no bottle water and a whole lot more advertised as a hotel all it is a Room nothing else

Very good

Liked: Nice, comfortable clean room and bed. Good clean shower and towels. Nice little find for an unplanned stop.
Disliked: Staff were scarce,, the one guy I did meet was pleasant though.

Ok for one night, but...

Liked: good clean basic accomodation at a fair price. Easy communication via what's app to allow check in and access to room outside if normal hours
Disliked: the black out curtains were great but sadly because they were fitted out from the window all the light came in around the edges.

Lovely stay in a historic...

Liked: It was really nice staying in a 19th century building, it was really charming. The outside road noise from the motorway was very quiet once we closed the windows and the room was not overly warm. The room had everything we needed including a hairdryer, kettle and tea and coffee. The bed was nice and cosy. The staff were very kind and friendly. They promptly helped out when we discovered our shower was having troubles with hot water. And we somehow managed to lose the key and they very kindly helped out regardless of the late hour. We were very appreciative. We can imagine outside would be quite loud with the motorway nearby but it didn't bother us. The hotel could use some TLC but it's a lovely old building.
