Located opposite Central Railway Station Wake Up Sydney Central features a lively onsite bar/nightclub and a huge range of free activities. It is set in the heart of Sydney's backpacking hub surrounded by nightlife precincts and travel shops. Wake Up Sydney Backpackers is in Sydney CBD (Central Business District) a 5-minute walk from Chinatown and a 15-minute walk from Darling Harbor. It is 20 minutes' by public transport from Circular Quay where you can walk to the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge. Sydney International Airport is a 30-minute drive away. Private rooms and mixed or all-female dormitories are available. All rooms feature secure lockers and a bedside lamp and power point. All rooms have modern furnishings and large windows that allow plenty of natural light in. Private rooms feature a TV. Guests enjoy the convenience of 24-hour reception and a tour desk. Some of the fun free activities include city walks trivia and pizza nights. Onsite Side Bar offers a great party atmosphere with live DJs and bands. Had better experiences at Wake...

Liked: Love the convenient location with proximity to catching train to airport, to awesome eateries and pricing.
Disliked: Unfortunately a few young males in my 8 bunk dorm where a little disruptive. I needed to get up by 5am to catch a flight and was hoping for some sleep, which I got earlier, but with interruption later. Anyway, nothing too serious. One guy was drunk, but quiet and I didn't mind letting him back in the room after accidental self lockout around 4am. Earlier around 2 and 3 am, probably a jet-lagged guy needed to have some food and had some super rustling wrapping paper to deal with. Anyway I caught up on sleep later on the plane. I would stay there again.

I had a great stay.

Liked: The staff popped me on the 7th floor, which is far away from all the noise from the bar. Really appreciate it. Kitchen is well equipped. Toilets and shower are clean all the time.
