Located opposite Central Railway Station Wake Up Sydney Central features a lively onsite bar/nightclub and a huge range of free activities. It is set in the heart of Sydney's backpacking hub surrounded by nightlife precincts and travel shops. Wake Up Sydney Backpackers is in Sydney CBD (Central Business District) a 5-minute walk from Chinatown and a 15-minute walk from Darling Harbor. It is 20 minutes' by public transport from Circular Quay where you can walk to the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge. Sydney International Airport is a 30-minute drive away. Private rooms and mixed or all-female dormitories are available. All rooms feature secure lockers and a bedside lamp and power point. All rooms have modern furnishings and large windows that allow plenty of natural light in. Private rooms feature a TV. Guests enjoy the convenience of 24-hour reception and a tour desk. Some of the fun free activities include city walks trivia and pizza nights. Onsite Side Bar offers a great party atmosphere with live DJs and bands. You can enjoy a meal at the onsite Roy's Cafe & Bistro or use the shared kitchen. If booking a breakfast included rate the breakfast consists of one breakfast toastie and one small hot beverage at Roy's Cafe. Also on offer are laundry facilities on each floor and a guest lounge area that plays movies each night.

Liked: location
Disliked: worst hostel i’ve stayed at. the noise level was unbearable, you can clearly hear people laughing and screaming from the next room, loud footsteps and running from the floor above, and even music from downstairs. the doors also slam shut loudly every time although we tried to close it softly, and my room was nearby to the female bathroom, so i could hear the hair dryer and hand dryer going off constantlythere were no hangers or hooks to hang your towel, so you have to leave it on your bed which is quite unhygienic. they also don’t provide any shampoo or shower gel. the room is dimly lit. overall, a very uncomfortable stay

Excellent!

Liked: The location and value for money is amazing! I definitely will recommend this hotel to everyone going to Sydney on a budget. I got the private room with shared bathroom and it was very clean and tidy, everything exceeded my expectations.
Disliked: Some of the toilet stalls have flush issues, but I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Perfect place to stay to

Liked: Great location. Right by the pick up for Greyhound buses. The staff were so helpful. Clean hostel and comfortable beds. Social if you want to be but quiet at night.
Disliked: Nothing.
