Happy Fresh budget stay, close...

Liked: Happy and fresh Hostel. Good location. Close-ish to Byron Bay centre. Very close to private beach where you could swim. The hostel also provides surfboard and bikes for hire. Cooking facilities were excellent. No food is provided. It’s byo food. But that’s ok. We booked a room with shared bathroom. Easy and free parking. Free bus to town. Friendly staff and nice other guests.
Disliked: Location ok/ quite good even, however, it is not within walking distance of Byron Bay centre. You would have to drive ( a short drive 5min) or take the bus provided by the hostel.

Liked: Great location being a bit away from the town centre. Great kitchen setup with heaps of storage .
Disliked: Mould in the bathroom of shared dormitory. Welcome of reception staff was not very professional for a hotel. I left me with the impression I was keeping him away from doing other things.

Liked: There was sand in the bed so the sheets had not been changed. Shared bathrooms were clean.
