Comfy for one night
Liked: Room was clean and comfy - breakfast was very good
Disliked: It’s tired !! Refurb planned but carpet clean in communal areas wouldn’t go amiss

A comfortable convenient stopover on...
Liked: Breakfast was fine - good choicesLocation of hotel handy for our Cleveland way walk. Lift back to the path was very welcome.
Disliked: Service at the evening meal was very slow and we had to ask for cutlery and glasses. Biggest problem was the bill for accommodation. I had paid in advance but there was no record of this. Fortunately I was able to show the receipt from Booking.com and my online banking statement so we were able to get a refund. Booking.com had not informed the hotel that I had paid.
