Waimea Plantation Cottages a Coast Resort, Waimea

Great location, cosy and plenty...

Liked: The Director‘s Cottage is greatly located, you fall asleep with the ocean’s waves.
Disliked: The infrastructure is a bit dated or „rustic“. The chairs on the deck could be a bit more comfortable.

Lovely cabin in spacious grounds

Liked: Location in Waimea. Cute older cabin in large grounds. Good shower. Nice to sit on balcony.
Disliked: Small bed and pillow felt like a brick ( to me) . Expensive for what it is - but all Hawai’i is expensive.

Being there for a wedding...

Liked: Such a beautiful property! As someone who does not like resorts, this is perfect! Separate cottages which makes you feel as if you have your own. Beautiful grounds!
Disliked: The beach has very murky waters because of the river outlet close by.

An amazing quiet location near...

Liked: Amazing property! Incredible relaxing grounds, chairs and hammocks everywhere, nice facilities and right on the beach. Restaurant on site too (not a ton of other options in the area). It gave an a inclusive feel without the “eek” of an all inclusive
Disliked: Nothing! I wish I had stayed longer

Superb

Liked: We chose the location to be close to the Canyon, be mindful that there is not much else around, we enjoyed the absence of tourism.Cute cottages, very friendly service, beautiful grounds. Has a fully equipped kitchen in the cottage and a guest laundry in the grounds. Aircon and ceiling fans in every room, cute deck to sit on.
Disliked: Cottage was a little dated and one of the aircons smelled a little funky.

Charming stopover at the foot...

Liked: The incredible charm of beautiful historic houses set in a magnificent palm grove. The beautiful seaside pool. The meticulous historic furnishing of the houses. Very quiet at night and starry sky.
Disliked: The beach is great for walking and watching the sunset, but is not suitable for swimming.
