Liked: I think overall it was great, very authentic, beautiful views and good interior. It was a bit older, but it worked great.Shout out to Josh in the reception and the pool team, they do an awesome job.

Wonderful, relaxing time.
Liked: Beautiful location on the ocean near Waimea Canyon. Hammocks and chairs for relaxing. Very winsome cottages with historic ambience.

Liked: Comfortable historic plantation cottages were wonderful! Very peaceful and lovely grounds. Great location for visiting Waimea Canyon. Pool was lovely and refreshing. The beach is great for walking.

Old Hawaii experience
Liked: The grounds of the cottage are beautifully maintained, lots of different trees, palms and bushes. Close to the beach, and the old plantation cottages give you a real feel for Old Hawaii. It's also away from the tourist areas, so it's quiet and very little light pollution for stargazing.
Disliked: In the living room, a huge tv was put right in front of a beautiful traditional Hawaiian flower watercolor, covering up 2/3s of the painting (see picture with this review). It was absurd. How many supervisors have gone through and ok'd this? Either take the water color out, or put it on another wall where it can be admired. I would have given the cottages a higher score but for this. It's the little details that make a big difference.
