Disliked: No wifi, no water, very poor customer service, no restaurants opened.

Very good

Liked: Location is good. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the room and kitchenette.
Disliked: Didn't care for the parking lot situation. The self parking is next to another hotel. Once you find where to park and how to take a shortcut to get to and from the garage it's not too inconvenient.

Great facilities, great location, if...

Liked: The rooms were a generous size and the location was fabulous. Nice to have a kitchenette in the room as well. The nearby beaches were beautiful and Ala Moana shopping centre was within walking distance.
Disliked: If we stayed here again we would like to be on beach side, we were on road side and it was very noisy, we couldnt have the balcony doors open as it was so so noisy. We had to wait a long time at the service desk each time we went there, even just for beach towels.

Liked: The staff, close to lots of activities and restaurants.
Disliked: There were roaches in the room yuck! I choose not to buy groceries and cook because of the insect issue. They said it was normal but not normal for me in any of my travels around the world.

The Illikai at Waikiki is...

Liked: Location for hotel is fantastic . Our room was overlooking the Carpark though - it was extremely noisy so had to keep room door closed all the time.
Disliked: It was difficult to find the Waikiki Marina Resort office in order to check in. But once we found it , the staff were incredible. They treated us wonderfully.
