Do not go here for...
Liked: Nothing at all, they should say limited parking but the description for hotel doesn’t say so.
Disliked: Everything from the smell of the room to its location.

Was booked in for 2...
Liked: The bed was clean and comfy and the hotel is in a great location.
Disliked: The rooms are very old and smelled musty and damp. The ‘pool view’ room meant that anyone outside could also see straight in my room so I had to keep the shutters closed. No coffee making facility in the room, however complimentary coffee in the pool area in the morningI had to pay a $150 security deposit for damages which I suppose is standard. Also $150 if I lose the key and $50 if I accidentally get locked out of my room.Big steel gate that is locked at night, you get a code for entry but made me feel a bit unsafe about the area. The pool seemed to have mould on the corners

Loved this place!
Liked: For the price point, its the BEST value in waikiki. Its not touristy or up to the minute IG chic, but it is surgically clean, unintentionally retro ( you can feel its 1950s roots- we stayed in the saratoga side) and the beds were super comfortable. Amenities were nice, soundproofed bathrooms a plus. If you dont need over the top decor but good decent housing- this is it. And the staff was super helpful and friendly!!
Disliked: The parking requires finesse ( we had a chevy spark and struggled, but made it work) but thats really the only downside

Best Deal/Value/Location in Waikiki!!
Liked: Can’t beat the price, location and ease of access. No frills or elevators to deal with, the Heritage is the best deal in Waikiki. It’s old, built in the 1950’s but well maintained to the best of their handymen’s and housekeeper’s abilities plus very nice gals working the front desk. Fort DeRussy beach is minutes away, busy Kalākaua, Royal Hawaiian Center, shopping and restaurants all at your fingertips. ABC store and CVS across the street……what more can you ask for!!
Disliked: Nothing to dislike, you get what you pay for at the Heritage, no more, no less!!

Not what we expected at...
Liked: The location was decent.
Disliked: We were not told the parking would be 40 bucks a night and no advice was offered on that to possible make that cost a little cheaper. All we got was a email with options of where we could park, the beds were old and uncomfortable, the pillows were flatter then my door mats and they had a water leak in the room below us and they started yelling at us to have our child who was showering at the time to turn off the water like it was our fault. When I asked for extra pillows and xtra blankets I was told they have none but will get me what they can. So out of 4 pillows and two blankets I was given 1 blanket and 2 pillows.
