Great location for a great...

Liked: Free towels, air conditioning in every room, availability of washing machines and dryers for the laundry.Prompt support from the staff in case of requestsLittle details to improve the stay: free rental of beach stuff (umbrella, snorkeling equipment, chairs, ..), presence of labels and pen on the fridge to assign name and dates to the food, presence of a cord in the room to hang wet clothes, free coffee during the day and free pancakes in the morning, daily events to help socializing (e.g. game night, karaoke,…)Availabilities of gym equipment, basketball basket, ping pong. Nice lounge.Perfect location for downtown and Waikiki beachAlso free parking available on the roads, 10-15 minutes by walking.

Liked: nice location, cool activities (movie night etc), staff was grrat, yummy pancakes in the morning

Liked: It's conveniently close to the beach, I like that they have the option to sleep only with girls, and the best thing about my experience is that the second time I decided to stay there they accommodated me in a room for six girls and in reality there were only two of us, also that room was better condition than the one for four girls so it was a nice experience. The staff is amazing.
Disliked: The accommodation for four girls could use some help.

Budget option isn’t always the...

Liked: The staff was welcoming, helpful and quite nice.
Disliked: Facilities are quite old. First night we couldn’t sleep because of street noise. Second one the floor was full of water as something was leaking.

Disliked: I can tell it’s an old hostel, no power close to the top beds, but other than that it was fine.

Liked: What I liked:I truly appreciate everything—every detail matters to me, and I can see the quality and care behind the services. The hostel is kept in beautiful condition, and the atmosphere feels peaceful and welcoming thanks to the supervisor. She’s always working hard, decorating every space so guests can feel like they’re in a little piece of heaven. and presence helped restore the overall positive experience.
Disliked: What I didn’t like:The woman in charge of the pancakes is not welcoming at all. She acts like we have to beg or earn the pancakes, which feels really disrespectful. She doesn’t greet guests or make them feel comfortable—no “hi,” no “welcome,” just attitude. That’s not good service. A bit of kindness and basic hospitality would make a big difference. I suggest some guest service training to help her connect better with people. Thankfully, the supervisor's kindness and presence helped restore the overall positive experience.
