Liked: The location of the property is excellent, you can easily get anywhere you want to go in the city. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms and common spaces are stylish and modern. The pool area (when you can use it) is lovely. Berenice on the front desk was kind and helpful.
Disliked: Like other reviews, I wanted to like this hotel. However, he noise pollution in this hotel is outrageous. Most people are staying in a hotel because they want somewhere to sleep and relax, not because they enjoy listening to incredibly loud music, over which they have not control, at all hours of the day. It is not remotely possible to relax in your room between the hours of 8am and 11pm, because of the ridiculously loud music that is played in the common spaces on the hotel. We were informed by WhatsApp (the day before) that there would be a function on the rooftop on one of the days we were staying. Not only did this mean that we could not use the rooftop on that day, but also the the level of music in our bedroom became absolutely unbearable. Unfortunately, Booking.com won’t let me upload a video of the noise level. When I complained by WhatsApp message, the initial response was ‘Well, we told you that we would be having a function.’ At this point I went down to complain in person, and was told that the music would be turned off by 10.30pm. I’m just glad we weren’t staying over a weekend or I think it would have been worse. I honestly wish I would have read the reviews here about the noise levels and stayed elsewhere. If you remotely enjoy being able to get to sleep at a time of your choosing, do not book this hotel.

Disliked: The hotel is a set. Very dark and very noisy. Rooms are not comfortable with thin towels and a bed raised on a platform in which you trip constantly. All the rooms face a central courtyard with Iron bars that obstruct the little light there is. at night it becomes a club. Loud electronic music. Another trendy hotel. All sizzle and no steak!!!

Liked: The bed linen and location was good.
Disliked: We had an unfortunate incident where the buildings water went out completely. Up until this happening, our stay was ok. Good greeting, drink on entry and a nice tart on arrival; beds are comfy but noise from the bars travels throughout rooms. Unfortunately, as soon as the problem happened everything else fell down with it. Little to no communication throughout the day to the point where I had to buy a 5 litre bottle of water to flush the toilet manually. It’s been over a month of escalation trying to get the property to honour the refund they agreed to and only now, with the legal team behind booking.com does this seem to be acknowledged (although not yet in my bank account!) 1 star communication, awful service and an arrogance that makes the whole experience 0 stars.
