No AC, small rooms, poor...

Liked: Location is fine if you want to stay downtown and staff were friendly.
Disliked: The AC did not work in any of the rooms. New Orleans in the summer time with no working AC was a nightmare. Also if you want to cool off with a nice, cold, shower, you won’t find that here. The only water options are hot or way too hot. The rooms are also very small. We had someone across the hall from us slamming their doors in the middle of the night because he was drunk and complaining about no AC as well. His shouting and slamming was stressing my dog out who started barking at his hostile sounding behavior. We then asked to switch rooms, so we got a different room on a floor below. This room was quite dirty with clumps of hair on the shower walls from what I can only assume to be the previous guest. There was also a strange residue left on the TV stand. The AC also did not work in this second room. The TV was also poor quality. There are no amenities in this hotel, no food service despite being right next to a restaurant, and nothing else beyond a room and a bed. The rugs also are extremely dirty and look grey from all the wear throughout the years. You also get only one small complimentary water bottle. The iron did not work and was extremely old. The ironing board also had a bad smell. I will not be staying here again. There was also a complicated wifi process that requires you to log in and create an account (which will ultimately lead to a bunch of spam marketing emails) so to avoid this, I had no wifi for my 2 night trip. The toilet paper is single ply. This hotel skimps out entirely and is not worth the price in the slightest. The courtyard in the middle between the two buildings smells like the trash since this is where they also line up the garbage cans. There are cockroaches and rats at night in the courtyard as well. You will find a better hotel elsewhere and if you want to enjoy your stay, I highly suggest you find a different hotel.

Liked: I loved the staff and pool area! The rooms were clean,
Disliked: The rooms do not get cold, I got switched rooms because it was warm in my room, and even in the new room, it wouldn't get above 72 degrees. It also has no microwave. It is pet friendly, but it has nowhere for your pet to potty outside. It's apparently 3 blocks away AND PARKING is a NO go! Paid 150 dollars extra for the weekend bc it was impossible to find parking even at a meter

Liked: The location to so many attractions. The staff was amazing. Andrew was on point with any questions or concerns. Another customer had a dog barking next to our room and Andrew made sure we had another amazing room to stay in.
Disliked: We thought we were getting a pool, but instead we were met with a 4-foot dipping pond. Lol. It was cute, but not what we wanted during the high heat.

Liked: The staff was very diligent in taking care of us and our needs. The bar staff was so pleasant to deal with and the bartenders were excellent.
Disliked: You need bellmen at all times. I miss the morning croissants and coffee delivered every morning to our rooms.
