Excellent Stay

Liked: This is a beautiful small. hotel over looking the Hudson River. The room was very large and clean. The ceilings were high and let in a lot of natural light. The resturant on the fifth floor looked very nice, although I did not eat there. If you can eat or drink out on the terrace. there are great views of the river. The staff was very nice. While I did not buy breakfast at the hotel, you can do so or just walk down the street where there are some nice breakfast alternatives. I liked the town that the hotel is in. It is a nice place to spend a night or two while exploring the area.
Disliked: I did not give the hotel the highest rating because it lacks a swimming pool. It would be a nice addition. Beyond that, was nothing not to like.

Liked: Basically everything was great except the bartender.
Disliked: Bartender decided to discuss our nationalities and why we were a couple with other clients (looked like her friends) in front of us, as they all assumed we don't understand much. As we showed no passports most I can imagine she got the info from the reception, who actually had seen our papers.

Stunning location, but a little...

Liked: The location was absolutely stunning!
Disliked: The personnel’s attitude regarding our option not to tip the waitress who only brought us breakfast from the kitchen (since it was only an à la carte option)

Exceptional

Liked: This is a wonderful hotel, in a lovely location. Modern, spacious, clean, but adjacent to the water and a short walking distance from various fun activities in town. Plenty of parking. The restaurant and bar were also great.
