Very pleasant. Thank you!
Liked: The stellar location near the heart of the Riverwalk and public transport!
Disliked: Some fixtures to hang towels in the bathroom room 1608 were broken (behind door, towel holder to right of sink).

Just stay at the Holiday...
Disliked: It it a “voco “ hotel or a Holiday Inn?It is fraying around the edges. The ice maker on my floor was broken and they wouldn’t send up ice but suggested I go to another floor. My friends air conditioning didn’t work for our entire stay even though the mechanics came 3 times in two days. The restaurant had sad limited menusWe paid extra to be at the “voco “ but it felt like a floundering Holiday Inn.The staff-desk , waiters and housekeepers- were all outstanding. They are obviously unable to excel given the environment

Bad
Liked: Location for my purposes
Disliked: I’m extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel, especially considering the price I paid (nearly $500 per night). When I first arrived, the room was not properly cleaned—there was a dirty towel in the bathroom, and the overall cleanliness was not up to standard. The next morning, things got significantly worse. As I left my room, I found a COCKROACH right outside my door—and another one INSIDE the room. I showed the maid service, and while they acknowledged it, the cockroach outside was still there two hours later when I returned. I had to call a different maid to finally remove both.I reported the situation to the manager, who offered fumigation. I declined due to concerns about chemicals, so instead I was offered a $50 restaurant credit. Honestly, that felt inadequate and a bit tone-deaf—I didn’t feel comfortable eating at the hotel restaurant while dealing with a pest problem in my room.Overall, this has been a deeply unpleasant experience. Cleanliness and hygiene are basic expectations, especially at this price point. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and makes meaningful improvements.
