THEY RUINED OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!

Liked: The hotel was clean and the room was big.
Disliked: We booked a skyline view room with 6 months in advance to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Once we arrived there, they charged the total price and gave us the key. Surprisingly, it was an interior room with views to the patio. After making a complaint, they changed us to a room with partial city views (the views were the railway and the ugly rear part of the river). The worst thing was that after having spoiled our anniversary, they didn't give us any refund, so we paid a lot more for the only room they offered to us, since they stated that there were no skyline view rooms available. They said it was booking.com the ones who blocked the rooms for the guests, so we also contacted booking and according to booking.com it's the hotel's.fault...We don't know if it's voco or booking the ones that.javw to provide us with a solution, but we didn't deserve to pay for a room which we never used.

Liked: It’s updated and very clean.
Disliked: The bar staff/ kitchen staff were absolutely horrendous. They had the worst attitudes. The housekeepers and most of the front desk workers were very nice though!

Liked: Breakfast was wonderful; healthy options such as natural greek yogurt and healthy toppings. Also, the oatmeal is not sweetened which is appreciated. A variety of pastry for those with a sweet tooth, several fruits not just apple and bananas, and a variety of hot breakfast. The view from the sining area was also so amazing.The bed and pillows were excellent!!We appreciated the view and also it was very nice to have a seating area in the room.It was very nice to see that the room is updated :)

Liked: The staff were very helpful
Disliked: They couldn't find my reservation and so I wasn't accommodated by the hotel. I had to book alternate accommodations on my own last minute.

Exceptional

Beautiful business hotel!

Liked: From the front desk on, the hotel was lovely. I was checked in early without any issue. The hotel's main lobby is most impressive and beautifully designed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bonus feature, the hotel connects to the Merchandise Mart, so I didn't have to brave the COLD weather.
Disliked: My biggest complaint is I couldn't work on the room wifi. I had a business meeting that I was unable to attend due to the poor service/speed. Also, I could hear other guests' full conversations through closed doors in the corridor.
