Vive Hotel Waikiki

Perfect for a couple vacationing...

Liked: The property was about 3 blocks away from the beach and it was perfect for us. We were able to come back to our room through out the day if we needed something without having to walk mile or drive back. The room was cozy, but that was to be expected, there was enough room for my partner and our suitcases for the week. The breakfast was perfect, there was always a protein and lots of cut up fruit and pastries to pick from.
Disliked: The bathroom was very close to the bed and there was little privacy. But in small rooms this is to be expected.

Fun two nights in Waikiki

Liked: Location was great, we loved the self serve beach supplies in the lobby and at the car park. Breakfast was good and nice to have coffee, tea, water supplied all day. Most of all the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful- the place has a positive vibe.

Liked: All employees were extremely friendly and ready to help at any time.The hotel is totally guest friendly. It has a large room with beach bags, beach chairs and beach towels and this is available to all hotel guests for free. Coffee, tea and water are available 24/7.The breakfast is solid. Along with a lot of pastries, there is also a lot of fresh fruit.The location of the hotel is one minute from Waikiki beach. This beach is nicely decorated, has showers, and the water is clean. It's pretty crowdy. The only thing is that it is not for those who like to swim, because the water is very shallow, and then more in deep waters the waves start, and the surfers take over the territory :-).
Disliked: The sleeping mattress was very soft.A room was just a bit louder, but it wasn't a problem.

Nice stay.

Liked: The building and the facilitations are kind of old, but the price is reasonable compared to other hotels in the close area, and the location is great: 5 minute’s walk to the beach. For me it’s like some kind of tradeoff, so nothing to complain basically.

Liked: It’s very close to the Waikiki beach and having all the beach towels and beach accessories available is a bonus .
