Comfortable, relaxing in excellent accommodation

Liked: Warm welcome. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated. Public lounge again was clean and welcoming. "Honesty" bar was well stocked and prices average. You just helped yourself and recorded what you had on a pre-printed form and paid when you checked out.Breakfast was superbly cooked, both the full English and kippers. Starting with yogurt and berries, ending with toast and marmalade.Being a 5 minute walk from town meant they did not get a passing trade so no lunch dinner service which was quite understandable. There were many pubs and restaurants in town to eat so no inconvenience at all. In fact being just slightly away from town meant it was quiet as I imagine in town hotels would be noisy into the night.
Disliked: No criticism at all.
