Liked: The hotel is very central and still quietly placed in a narrow road. There are some restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hotel has a lobby and is nicely presented in 50ties and 60 ties style.
Disliked: The room was pretty small and one could hear some noise from outside.

Superb

Liked: the staff was amazing, very attentive and welcoming. the room was clean with soft bed, the bathroom was also clean.
Disliked: the only minus is wifi was very slow

Nice hotel with helpful staff...

Liked: The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are modest, but comfortable. There are numerous restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets. The hotel is nearby public transportation.
Disliked: An elderly couple entered my room while I was undressed. Their key (from across the hall) opened my locked door. The Concierge said it was not the first occurance, this security risk raises alarms.

Liked: Nice breakfast/cafe area, homely feeling, interesting decor and design exhibits. We didn't have breakfast but it was very reasonably priced for nowadays. Our room and bathroom were generously sized. I was able to leave my bag there before check-in and after checkout.
Disliked: Our ground floor room (no.2) was noisy as people sat in the little courtyard outside the window for a long time during the night talking. Also there was "nightlife" noise from the street. I assume it wasn't so bad in other rooms, we got the only one downstairs next to the entrance. Avoid room 2!An extra pillow would have been nice.

Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to all the main tourist attractions. It's also near the central train station which I needs to travel to Amsterdam, only about €12 by taxi. The area is quiet and feels very safe, even late at midnight. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.Please note that the hotel entrance is locked after midnight, but you can ring the bell and the staff will open it for you. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The rooms are a bit small, but they were clean and comfortable
