Great place to stay, perfect...
Liked: The room was perfect as we had a dog. Ground floor, huge space, super king bed, walk in shower, comfortable chairs and a Nespresso coffee machine!
Disliked: The room temperature was really too warm. Couldn't leave the window open overnight as we were on the ground floor. We only had one evening meal and one breakfast. Breakfast was ok, no problem. However some of the meal prices were a rip off especially the steaks: £45 mixed grill; £50 T-bone; £26 sirloin but the best bit YOU ONLY GET THE STEAK...have to pay extra for sides: £3 French fries and wait for it £4 for a single field mushroom! Luckily loads of places to eat in Buckingham. The Villiers used to have a fine dining restaurant with plenty of choice but no more, shame.

A short 2 day stay,...
Liked: Good central location, good facilities, spacious rooms, outstanding staff who could not have been more helpful.
Disliked: Bed a double only and mattress not quite as comfortable as most modern hotels. Room was huge so could have done with a king size bed.

A pleasant and comfortable hotel...
Liked: Comfortable beds. Good location although some noisy people outside late at night. Good restaurant although the menu was a bit limited.
Disliked: Had a problem getting lights to come on and had to ask for help. The master switch needs to be labelled!!My wife had a broken shoulder and we could have been offered more help with the cases.
