Central Comfort Steps from Manchester's Music Scene

Modern and budget-friendly, Ville Hotel puts you right in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Just a short stroll from Canal Street, The Palace Theatre, and Manchester Art Gallery, this 3-star hotel is all about location and convenience. With a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi, and friendly concierge service, it's a reliable base for music fans looking to explore the city's nightlife and live venues.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re only a 2-minute walk from Canal Street and within 10 minutes of major venues like The Palace Theatre and Bridgewater Hall. The Piccadilly Train Station is nearby, making late-night travel or next-morning departures a breeze. The hotel’s central spot means you can walk back after the show—no taxis needed. Plus, with 24-hour reception, you won’t worry about late check-ins.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to stay close to the action
  • Solo travelers catching a long-awaited show
  • Couples planning a music-filled weekend
  • Fans who want a quieter room after a loud night
  • Budget-conscious music lovers

Food and Drink Options

While the hotel doesn’t offer an on-site restaurant, its unbeatable location on Canal Street puts you a stone’s throw from late-night eateries, pubs, and cafés. Whether it’s post-gig burgers or early morning coffee, you’re covered. There’s no in-house bar or room service, but that’s part of what keeps the price down.

Nightlife Options

With Canal Street right outside, you’re surrounded by some of Manchester’s best nightlife—from LGBTQ+ bars and cocktail lounges to live DJ sets. While Ville Hotel itself doesn’t host live music, you’ll be surrounded by venues that do.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel's central location and affordability. Reviews often highlight the friendly staff and the ease of walking to top spots. Many say it’s a great base for a weekend of music and exploring Manchester, and it’s especially popular with travelers who want to stay near Piccadilly Station.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention the rooms are on the smaller side and the décor is a bit basic—but most agree it’s clean, comfy, and a good value. If you’re expecting luxury, this isn’t it—but if you just need a solid place to sleep after the show, it delivers.

The Bottom Line

Ville Hotel is a budget-friendly choice for concert-goers who want to stay central, sleep soundly, and save their money for merch and music.

Bad bad bad, smelly and...

Liked: The location was great as it was closer to all amenities.
Disliked: Dirty duvets and matrass protectors with stains, no bed sheet, the room was very hot like a sonar and the fan is rubbish. The toilet and shower has a permanent odor that smells throughout the entire room, It was the waste room I have ever stayed in, I do not recommend. They do not even offer clean towel or cleaning the next day.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Disappointing and severely overpriced.

Liked: Location was great & not too noisy considering the area.
Disliked: Room was nothing like advertised, felt quite unclean. No lift, since we were there for work I had a very heavy suitcase which was awful taking up and down the stairs. Staff were not friendly at all, other than check out as we simply dropped off our card and said thank you. Seemed to be under the presumption we were just there for leisure and “partying”, not a great assumption to make just because we’re in the gay village as we were there for work at a venue a short walk away. No standard hotel amenities like extra pillows, iron, hair dryer etc.

Liked: It was affordable and I got a decent room. Neat little coffee&tea corner setup. Not sure what else to say!
Disliked: There was no regular showerhead alongside the rainfall showerhead.

Disliked: The cleanliness needs to be better.
