Liked: The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was good.. The location was also good.
Disliked: The price was too high for what it offered. The villa needs more maintenance, and it does not have air conditioning. I also did not like the parking gate. We had to wait to be allowed to enter the parking area.. They need a better system with the parking gate.

Liked: Overall, the hotel is fine. It really needs an update, and the breakfast could be improved. The hotel staff was overall very friendly and helpful. However, I do feel that it's overpriced for the experience.

Liked: Loved the hotel, it's labyrinthine paths in the garden were delightful to walk thru. Pool was refreshing, mostly dominated by kids. The service was good, very clean, as others have said. Free breakfast was good & we would stay here again, loved feeling like we were in a palace of days past with ahidden garden.
Disliked: the only thing we didn't like: the beds aren't very comfortable.

We loved Danza del Sol...

Liked: Danza del Sol is such a delightful place - the apartments are large and nicely furnished, the grounds are lovely, the breakfasts are delicious , the staff very helpful and the pool is fun! It’s also a short walk from anything you’d want to visit in Ajijic. Totally recommend!
Disliked: It wasn’t a big deal because the staff helped us with it and it was very affordable, but we had to buy a water container from the front desk - they made it easy, though .
