A comfortable base for a...
Liked: Comfortable rooms. Staff very helpful especially in relation to the breakfast bag which contained an item my wife couldn't eat for health reasons. Push button showers in club class room probably the best I've used anywhere.
Disliked: First room we were allocated too involved walking down a poorly ventilated corridor above the swimming pool, lined with parents watching their children's swimming lesson. Didn't feel very Covid-safe. There was dried toothpaste stuck to the carpet by the bed. We were moved to another room which was much nicer. Breakfast is a bag with a cereal bar, a green apple, orange juice and a chocolate croissant in a packet. The hotel is currently being used as a vaccination centre - excellent of the hotel management to support the vaccine programme but this might not suit someone who is at risk of the increased social contact as there was a steady stream of visitors on our first day there. I didn't see any information about this in the pre-visit emails.

Liked: I?ve stayed before and it?s been fine.
Disliked: No heating in room, so it was cold and damp. Takeaway breakfast was a disgrace for £7.50 charge.
