Disappointing

Liked: Stayed here many times, so familiar and friendly staff
Disliked: First time ever we were put in an accessible room, maybe because we booked via Booking.com? Bathroom was dirty, shower was not suitable for non-disabled people and it's water was a mere trickle on hot.

Liked: Very nice hotel with great facilities, easy to get to. The room was spotless and comfortable

Overshadowed by the general upkeep...

Liked: The staff were lovely. The breakfast was very nice and leisurely. Greeted well and processed well. Really helpful with any questions we had. We love the northeast and travel several times of year there but will not go to the Village again.
Disliked: The room was very disappointing from the point of view of mould around the windows and mould in the tiles in the bathroom. We had no water left and no coffee machine which has been automatic in places of similar cost.

Liked: - Staff were very pleasant and helpful- Plenty of parking - Facilities to cover all needs from food to Gym - great! :) - Easy to find- Great choice of pillows to choose from - well accommodated!!
Disliked: - Mattress seemed well used as support not great- Dusty in places- Fan was appreciated however was very dusty- Only chair to sit on was covered in obvious food crumbs- The view overlooked the flat roof which I accept however the view included looking at dustpan brush and a clearly out of date large milk container with contents spread over the roof was not pleasant.These are minor things that with checking could be rectified easily.

Liked: Check inn and the staff
Disliked: The fact that a young couple were using the family changing rooms ! The males language was disgusting, luckily no other families were in the changing rooms at the time, however I did remind him that this was a family changing room and to stop the language as my son was present. he was a disgusting little man that shouldn't of been in the family changing room from anyways and why was he and his girlfriend not stopped? My wife and I were actually just looking for a fitness club to join but after this we will never return.
