Generally the hotel looks a bit tired and standards need sharpening up to justify the cost. There are more modern hotels within the city centre for a similar or lower cost, albeit without the leisure facilities.
Liked: Restaurant staff very good; breakfast selection excellent; location ideal for stadium access and Headlingley; huge car park; Starbucks on site.
Disliked: Rooms a bit tired; pool congested; wi-fi poor signal strength in room; cleanliness average; reception toilet facilities poorly maintained; towels in leisure centre too small.

Poor
Disliked: The rooms were hot and the aircon didn't work. And tried to report the issue for maintenance to come no one showed up. We slept in a stuffy room as we couldn't open the windows to prevent bugs from entering.

A lovely and relegating stay.
Liked: The checking in process is perfectly smooth and easy. I checked in about 9pm and sometimes a late check in can be tricky. All the staff are very professional and polite. The room itself was spotless, quiet and relaxing. I forgot my toiletries, but the hand wash, & shower gel provided in the room were of the highest quality and smelt lovely. It was a very nice stay.
Disliked: The room could have done with an overhead light in the main area

Liked: I made booking we'd night at 1.48 in the morning, I live hull. Traveling for dental work.... It was a important trip too me. I arrived 3.28am I was trying the self check in as no host was at the lobby of front of house.!! Poor serving!! I was stood with my bags in the front lobby shouting for help. I suffer with panic attacks and I could feel one comming on. Am really upset this happened at 4.28am I used your telephone to ring doubt village Leeds or that's what it said on the phone speed dial. Somebody answered, I explained what had happened, she called someone then 2 member of staff turned up at the same time say sorry but they was cleaning. That completely not acceptable in my opinion, it's cost me £163 I entered my room after been told I didn't have a booking then I did have one but they still struggling to book me in a actual room. I felt like crying, the member of staff could see this. And finally put me in room 180, I entered me room at 5.10am.i had to be up at 8am so for 2 hours and 50 mins in your establishment it's cost me £163.00
Disliked: All of the above. How can this actually even happen. I'll break it down. The 2 member of staff both was not doing there's jobs correctly and was sleeping in the job. I could see it on both there faces. Possibly the reason it took theA. 1HOUR TO EVEN COME TO THE FRONT OF HOUSEB. SLEEPING WHILE GETTING OAID FOR IT WHILE THE PERSON WHO HAS PIAD WAIT LIKE A FOOL I A EMPTY WAITING AREA.C. THIS WOULD. NOT HAPPEN I HULL. FACT.!!!!AM GOING TO TAKE THIS FURTHER I KNOW THE MD OF THE VILLAGE HOTEL IN HULL. WE'RE VERY CLOSE!HOPE YOU ENJOY MY MONEY. I DIDNT ENJOY MY STAY!!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant luxury lively would stay...
Liked: Beautiful spa and gym. Starbucks restaurant in hotel and also pub with really good food.
Disliked: Air conditioning wasn’t working on our night
