Village Hotel Leeds North

Generally the hotel looks a bit tired and standards need sharpening up to justify the cost. There are more modern hotels within the city centre for a similar or lower cost, albeit without the leisure facilities.

Liked: Restaurant staff very good; breakfast selection excellent; location ideal for stadium access and Headlingley; huge car park; Starbucks on site.
Disliked: Rooms a bit tired; pool congested; wi-fi poor signal strength in room; cleanliness average; reception toilet facilities poorly maintained; towels in leisure centre too small.

Comfortable stay

Liked: We came to stay the night for a wedding. We had a lovely time and found most staff to be very helpful especially with advising on wheelchair access. The wedding was brilliant. The stay was comfortable and clean
Disliked: I didn't like that the house keep knocked on our door at 10.50 to tell us he should be in to clean our rooms however check out wasn't until 11. We were almost ready just gathering the last bits but I feel he should have checked the time. Also there was very little space in the family room with the sofa bed pulled out. The rooms were a little compact especially with a child who is a wheelchair user but family rooms with access don't exist.
