Superb
Liked: Pool and facilities were amazing. Place had everything family needed.New dart board game was brilliant but could be lower the price as people will spend more time and order more drinks etc
Disliked: The price of kids drinks at the bar was too expensive.

Liked: Great the hotel has a swimming pool. Rooms have been refurbished since last stay there.
Disliked: Room very hot. No a/c but a tall fan that didn't work properly.

Liked: Staff were lovely and helpful.
Disliked: Temperature was uncomfortably hot every day, especially during the evening. There was a fan in the room but it did not work and you could only open windows slightly. Struggled to sleep both nights due to the temperature and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Wouldn’t stay again for this reason. Also quite far walking distance from the centre which has restricted (and expensive) parking so if you have an event in the city centre, I wouldn’t suggest staying here.

Very good
Liked: Lovely hotel, great room and facilities. We enjoyed a family swim in the morning. The staff were brilliant.
Disliked: The room was very warm at night and we couldn’t open the window enough to cool it down. Other than that we loved our stay.

Lovely stay in Cardiff x
Liked: Great location .The beds were the best I ever slept in ,in a hotel . Breakfast good choice xx Staff amazing, deserve a medal especially dealing with so many events ,not enough of them .
Disliked: The timing for breakfast, finishing at 9am!!! People are on holiday ! The staff run off their feet and not allowed a trolley to help them clear the tables that lazy people don't clear themselves. Carrying lots of pots is more of a hazard xx This hotel and facilities are great but get a grip on how you manage the bar and food .

Not really very impressed
Liked: Large room.Space to put luggage and clothes. Large shower with choice of 2 spray heads.Staff responded quickly to problems with the room.Nice amount of milks with tea and coffee.
Disliked: Only 4 hangers in wardrobe. No hooks for coats. Not enough shower towels and after 3 attempts we still didn't receive the right amount of towels.Nowhere to put towels when wet. One tiny hook on back of door completely insufficient and unhygienic. Nowhere to. Put hand towels. Nowhere to put own washing soaps, flannels etc in shower. Lacked any shelving. Drinks tray lacked somewhere to place wet tea bags to avoid them dripping everywhere. Room faced carpark so very noisy til late at front of hotel with disco guests shouting and shrieking. Had to have window open as very hot and stuffy. Used the fan, but fan noisy. Also, heavy traffic through the night.Duvet was too thick for heat and lack of top sheet meant it felt uncomfortable sleeping without the duvet. Constant attempts to upsell to us which started immediately after booking: Unsettling phone calls, repeat emails, bordering on harassment. Horrible psychedelic room decoration. Not relaxing at all.Cost of room didn't even include breakfast.
