only had one night there on a trip to cheltenham races! rooms excellent! comfy friendly bar area, lovely breakfast!!!!!hope to be on the same trip next yearxx

Liked: Great all in one location as in for food,room, gym etc and a good vibe from people in general there
Disliked: Room was a little smallQR code app fr room service didn't work and no alternate that I could see , no phone or phone number for food/reception in room(had to dree and go to bar)also overheard at night the staff telling a resident they could not eat food they had bought from MacDonald downstairs!! what, that's terrible especial as the bar was shut and there were no food options in hotel and resident! It was not me, but was taken a back enough to make me think twice at staying as customer is right, right and especial if there are not other choices, to be told when with people that you have to go to your room to eat is

Liked: Location good as was visiting the Black Country museum near by.
Disliked: Absolutely awful experience at this hotel. Our room was 169 which over looked the outside sitting area. Myself and my partner attempted to go to sleep around 10pm ready for a full day ahead at the museum the day after. The noise coming from outside was so loud. People shouting, screaming, the music was extremely loud. The base from the music was pounding through the room. I was aware the bar shut at 11pm therefore waited to see if the music and people making noise outside stopped at this time. When it did not stop just after 11pm I rang the reception of the hotel to be told that there was a private function on until 12pm. The noise continued to keep us awake. At around 12:15 the music stopped and the people left the outside sitting area. I finally thought right time to go to sleep until guests arrived at the room next door and all I could hear was them having sex loudly. I went down to reception at this to which I was told I could move to room 156 down the corridor at this point it was nearly 1am in the morning and I would be moving my belongings. I stated I would go back to my room and see if the noise had now stopped. Finally back in bed when at 1:15am the staff decided they were going to open the doors to the function room which led to the outside seating area and start popping all the balloons from the party this also went on for a while and was very loud. After this the staff started to crash all the empty glass bottles into the bins.My partner and I did not get to sleep until after 3am which effected us the next day. I raised this with the member staff again when we checked out and she told me to email the manager and that was basically it.

Disliked: The only complaint we had was with breakfast, we hadn't booked it and went down in the morning to enquire and it had gone up to twice the price so we went to tesco instead. I don't think it's fair that you can charge twice the price on the day but half the price beforehand, it's greed. That was the only disappointing thing for us
