With everything from golf to go-karts on site, this is a resort built for fun—and perfect for turning a concert night into a full weekend escape.
Guest rooms are simple but comfortable, and the property offers a huge range of activities, from bowling and rock climbing to ski slopes in colder months. Whether you're here for the music or the mountain air, you'll find plenty to keep you entertained.

Why Concert-goers love it

It’s all about that post-show unwind. Just a short drive from Bethel Woods, the resort gives you a quiet, scenic place to recharge after the music ends. With late check-out at 12:00 PM, you won’t have to rush out the door after a late night. Plus, with multiple on-site lounges and nightclubs, the energy doesn’t have to end when the encore does.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for fun-filled downtime between shows
  • Solo travelers chasing that bucket-list concert experience
  • Couples making a romantic weekend of it
  • Fans wanting a peaceful post-concert recovery spot

Food and Drink Options

With seven dining options on-site, you won’t go hungry. From casual bites at the Pool Grill to upscale dinners at the Club Restaurant, there’s something for every appetite. While there’s no mention of 24/7 room service, the range of venues makes it easy to grab a meal before or after a show. Late breakfast options are often available—perfect after a night of dancing.

Nightlife Options

You don’t have to leave the resort to keep the party going. Villa Roma features three nightclubs for late-night fun, plus bars and lounges where you can enjoy a relaxed drink. If you do venture out, Callicoon and nearby towns offer local bars and cozy pubs for a more intimate scene.

What People Say

Guests love the all-in-one resort experience, especially the range of activities and dining. Reviews often mention the friendly staff, clean rooms, and great location for events at Bethel Woods. Families and friend groups appreciate the variety of entertainment available on site.

Areas for Improvement

The resort is a bit dated in places, with some guests noting that rooms could use a refresh. Wi-Fi can be spotty, especially in more remote parts of the property. But if you're here for the music and the mountain views, these minor issues are usually easy to overlook.

The Bottom Line

Villa Roma Resort And Conference Center is your go-to Catskills escape for a weekend of music, fun, and full-on relaxation after the show.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Catherine, B, visiting Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Sat, 26 August 2023

Initial Receptionist- no personality. Didn’t offer directions to a room; quite a distance walk; Morning Coffee offered - employee greeted us awaiting guests in hallway with a pitcher of water; coffee not made at 7:45. Breakfast included in my hotel package - not offered til 8:30. I had to leave area for a dr. Appt. in Binghamton - couldn’t wait.

Liked: Room was quiet.
Disliked: Morning receptionist didn’t know managers name.

Discrimination

Liked: I like the show very much and the ski activities.
Disliked: If you are not a time share holder, expect discrimination On our two days breakfast experience, a server with a named Maza displayed a very rude demeanor by yelling at me just because I took a cup from another table for my son. This staff not only disrespected me but had totally ignored my whole family needs while we're dining by not asking us if we need anything. I have to constantly raise my hand and ask for assistance while he comes to other guests and constantly ask if they need anything. When the issue was brought up to the maitre-d' names Randy, instead of addressing their staff of the disrespectful behavior, we were threatened that we would be removed from the dining. We then spoke to the operations manager, Carol, who was very arrogant as well. Telling us that we should not have taken the cup repeatedly from another table. Whoever is reading this, what do you think.? Instead of apologizing for the incident, she is defending her staff behavior. THIs is unacceptable. Customers should be treated with respect no matter what. The staff can just easily replace the cup I took with no issues. THE MANAGEMENT DID NOT SHOw any concerns with their guests. Instead, made us feel that it was our fault. Do not come here if you do not want to experience discrimination.

Won’t be back.

Disliked: Front desk staff was rude, food was mediocre, 2 out of 4 bumper boats were not working, saw an ant crawling on my bed, beds in room just had a sheet and thin blanket- no bedspread or comforter, when checking in - no bell hop, no cell service - had to go out of the building to use a phone. No valet service like there use to be. All in all staff didn’t look or sound like they liked being there either.
