Disliked: I can't say I didn't like it but the cold water on the sink tap did not have any water pressure. We could have used an extra blanket as it was a chilly night.We made due with what we had and enjoyed our stay.

Wasaga weekend

Liked: The location was great for our needs.The staff was helpful.The staff rectified the issues that we encountered.
Disliked: There was no heat when we arrived.The hot water did not work.It looked like it is in need of maintenance and updates.

I should have left when...

Liked: The property is very close to the main drag at Wasaga Beach area 1. In the Spring, Summer, and early Fall you can’t beat the location. The Inn was budget friendly comparatively for New Year Eve. We were not expecting much more than a clean place to sleep, shower and a parking space for our vehicles. These needs were not all met.
Disliked: When booking online I indicated that we were bringing a dog. When we arrived, the owner, Tony was surprised we had a dog and told us there would be a charge. I said I was aware as it was stated on the website. We were originally brought to unit 4 but as the hostess was checking us in tony called and told her to put us in 5 as it would be “cozier “ with the dog.What they actually did was put us in a dirty room with dog hair already everywhere either to save on cleaning or to charge us a big fee for the mess someone else had left clean. You can clearly tell the dog hair did not come from our English Bulldog who couldn’t get on that furniture even if she wished to.We didn’t like the fact that someone with a very hairy black Dog, and presumably a child (surmised due to the sparkle stickers everywhere and action figures under the couch cushions). I really think someone had stayed here long term recently and it was not cleaned after they left. Not dirty tenants but what it would look like if a family with kids and a dog lived in a small apartment for a couple of months and moved out without cleaning. Crumbs, dog hair (even in the sheets) food spilled on the bed spread, an unidentified lump of white stuff partially under the bed, spilled things on the night tables, food and crumbs on the couch, used ashtray on the porch.The bathroom smelled of urine and even though there is a big jacuzzi soaker tub, i would rather wait and wash in a fast food restaurant bathroom with baby wipes than get in it, and that’s what we did. Toothpaste covered the sink and the faucet OH, and no toilet paper. NONE. We didn’t get back from my families house until 1:30 am and we held it until the next morning when we could find one of the two open establishments on New Years Day.We have travelled a lot this past year and we don’t need a fancy hotel or amenities to like a place or or give it a great review. What we do expect is clean, in good repair and practicing ethical business standards.

Liked: I liked the fact that owner was able to provide wi-fi password, ice when we needed it and his wife was able to help remove a fish hook from my dress…yeah!
Disliked: I was with my elderly mother and the light switches were in strange places on the walls and could have used grab bars in tub in bathroom. Very difficult for mum to take shower
