Wonderful!
Liked: The apartment was incredibly clean. The bed was super comfortable, lots of pillows and blankets. Coffee machine, TV, large balcony, a spacious shower, soft carpeted floor. What more could you wish for?

Room for improvement.
Liked: Lovely building. Good location. Free parking. Bonus!! Tram stop right outside. Comfortable room. Clean bathroom. Good bed. "Kitchenette" turned out to be a hob/sink/cupboard combo in the bedroom so quite tight but adequate. Tea and coffee making facilities also and shared balcony.
Disliked: It was more a well equipped hotel room, with ensuite, than an apartment and could do with some TLC. First impression of the room wasn't good because the carpet was very grubby. The manager didn't answer my email request for check-in details and, just by chance, we met him coming out the front door. We had experienced self check in before and the communication had been swift & excellent. So, a bit disappointing ...

Liked: Probably the best value for money I've ever met. Super clean, freshly renovated, large room with amazing king sized bathroom, easy to find and get in, free parking.

Good
Liked: We stayed at underground floor and it was better than anticipated. Lots of beautiful decorations and furniture but they didn't really add functionality though. There's a small breakfast table and two chairs. Bathroom was great. Lighting was well thought so it wasn't dark. Parking space was good. Staff was eager to correct things we pointed out needing fixing.
Disliked: We stayed there as a family of three but there wasn't ready made bed or linens for third bed. Staff came fast though and fixed this. Bedsheets felt too used for accommodation purposes.Kitchen did have fridge, oven and coffee machine. No dishwasher so you would expect to have equipment to do the dishes simply but there was no drying rack or tea towels for drying dishes. Only two glasses. When pointed that out, they brought three coffee mugs and cloth napkins right from Ikea, tags on.. they were useless for our needs. Also missing oven mitts. I think these are the things that should have been thought by Villa Linnenschmidt staff beforehand. Lots of little and somewhat easy things to fix that would add careless holiday experience and give better review.

Good stay but can be...
Liked: The property has nice parking space, close to the tram line, very easy to find. It is definitely spacious and modern
Disliked: The bathroom, despite being very spacious, has water clogging issue. The toilet is clogged and the shower is clogged, which is a pity for such a nice bathroom. If it wasn't for the bathroom issues, I would have rated this the highest star and recommend others to visit

On our list of good...
Liked: We didn't get the opportunity to meet the host, but the instructions given were clear and simple, and we could get our key card easily on arrival. The room itself was smaller that I'd expected, but with a huge, comfortable bed, a little kitchenette with a fridge and an electric hob (which we didn't use) and a kettle (which we did!) The balcony would have been lovely if the weather had been better, but that's not the hotel's fault! And it's easy to get to both by car and by S-Bahn. We come to Bremen quite often, so we're putting the Villa Linnenschmitt on our very short list of places to stay next time!
Disliked: When all the rooms were let out, it was difficult to park the car in the car park behind the hotel, and I found myself obliged to reverse back out onto the road a couple of times. That's not a serious problem, as it's easy enough to find somewhere on the main road, and Schwachhausen is a safe enough part of town.
