Disliked: First of all, I've stayed in Miami prior however never on South Beach so my husband and I were really looking foward to this. However after checking in and going to room I needed to take a shower and when I turned the handle to shower the handle completely fell off and I couldn't turn the water off at all. The shower head was awful and it water was barely coming out. My husband did a quick fix and got thr handle back on but it was broken. I literally had to wash my hair in the sink because the water was not very strong coming out of shower head. We complained but the front desk manager just didn't care. Then I found several gray hairs laying on the night stand that totally grossed me out. The furniture in thr room was old and beaten up. It was nothing like the pictures online! The bed was uncomfortable and after finding hair all I could think about is if the sheets were clean!! My husband complained the next morning but all they could do was offer him a free water. This place was and is a joke! The kicker was coming back from dinner and seeing a patron who needed to check in and she was sleeping outside on the lounge patio furniture with r big suitcases next to her. So you've been forewarned Don't stay here!!! You will be miserable!!! I'm just glad our stay was only 1 night!!

Liked: Location was terrific to access Ocean Dr, the beach, the boardwalk
Disliked: Didn’t have continuous hot water for showers;early access but had to pay and would have been nice to enjoy the beach amenities since had to pay for 2 days resort fees

Great friendly place just rooms...

Liked: Was close to the beach and restaurants, airport.
Disliked: Was very dated in the bathroom. Water pressure was rubbish and shower wasn’t hot. The bathroom had mould too. Door lock was an electronic one which broke so had to get an actual key. And paying extra for the beach charge was a bit annoying as didn’t even use it.

Liked: Excellent customer service & room was very comfortable. Very quiet & peaceful. Everything was within walking distance. Loved front desk agent Petya's commitment to take care of me w/computer system problem at early checkinShe was phenomenal and took care of me.& assured me it would ould be ok. Villa Italia 10⭐And housekeeper was extraordinary too. Cleaned my room & made I was ready to checkin & rest. Love Villa Italia!!!!
