Liked: The hotel is located in a pretty, leafy neighborhood replete with cafes and restaurants.
Disliked: The towels were a little threadbare but clean and functional

Liked: Great old Villa in a quaint neighborhood
Disliked: Far too much construction going on. We could not use the outdoor patio and there was the smell of paint and constant work being done.

Liked: Beautiful property, spacious rooms with traditional Mexican tiles, very convenient to many restaurants, cafes and bars.
Disliked: No coffee maker or fridge in room, renovations to the property were in progress resulting in some noise.

Delightful boutique inn, with lovely...

Liked: We were just delighted with our five day stay at this beautiful boutique inn. The property is a converted historic home, and the owners have retained all of the original character of the structure. Everybody who works there was just lovely, open and friendly. The location is convenient to one of the main restaurant strips in Guadalajara. And generally a good launching point for exploring the general area.
Disliked: We honestly do not have any complaints. We understood when we booked the reservation that they were undergoing renovations, but none of the work disturbed us, or distracted from the enjoyment of our stay. And I can tell that the work they are doing will create an even more incredible experience, and if we are back in Guadalajara, we will for sure stay here again.

Overall stay was ok and...

Liked: Good location. Quiet. Attentive staff
Disliked: Hotel is being remodeled. Inside courtyard is not ready which is an online feature of the hotel advertising. I was sent notice about the remodel with ability to cancel. However I was not prepared for the extent pf the work being done. Our room also needs a complete remodel which the hotel manager acknowledged is in their plan to update all rooms.
