Awesome Villa!

Liked: The view is awesome, the food at the onsite restaurant is delicious, staff are really welcoming. Had a really great time staying at Villa Eyrie resort. My partner and I are both very satisfied with the staying and dining experience.

Disliked: We were disappointed with the restaurant. We had a brunch and the Christmas dinner there. In both cases the service was very slow: the brunch took 1.5 hours and the dinner took more than 4 hours; the main part of the time was waiting for the food or wine to be served. Some regular restaurant services (e.g., refilling the water) were not provided. The food quality was OK but not exceptional, and the selection of wine and cocktails was rather limited. Besides, everything was very expensive. After this experience, we decided not to eat at the Villa and had to drive to Victoria every day twice for breakfast and dinner. This took a lot of time and did not allow us to explore the Villa's spa and other facilities. Probably, a faster and cheaper food service, like a coffee shop with a salad/snack bar, will be good to add.
