Great option outside of Trinidad

Liked: I was delighted by View Crest Lodge. My ‘cabin’ was cute, warm, fully equipped with good WiFi and television, a great bed and coziness. I hope to return!
Disliked: I liked it all!

A few things could have...

Liked: Beautiful property and loved hearing the seals.
Disliked: During our stay they weren't serving breakfast which was part of the reason we booked there. The couch in the living room is horrible, luckily there is a t.v. in the bedroom and the bed was much more comfortable. We stayed in the cabin with the hot tub which was nice after a long day exploring but it would have been nicer if all the jets worked.

Great scenic stay for visiting...

Liked: - Room setup/layout and small kitchenette/living room area feel like you have a small one bedroom place instead of just a bedroom- Small ocean view at unit 7A- Location/close to parks- Friendly staff- Heater works very well- Convenient breakfast process (fill out a form the day before and they drop off the food and drink at your room the night before)
Disliked: -We like to take our shoes off at the door but the floors made our feet/socks dirty (suggest slippers or slides)Would be nice to have but not a big deal:- Two luggage holders instead of one so you don't have to share one for two people's luggage and a couple more hangers for the closet- Not a walkable location, even though you're so close to the coast and Sue Meg State Park.

Overall nice stay.

Liked: Large cabin with a separate bedroom. Kitchen with appliances and utensils to make meals. Easy access to local services. Easy check in and check out.
Disliked: A bit pricy for location and being out of season.

Great place! But beware of...

Liked: I've been here one other time and had no issues. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and we loved the hot tub!
Disliked: I did not like that the cabin we stayed in had an ant problem, I suggest that if you stay here, don't leave any food out at all, Just place it in the fridge. I wish I would have known before leaving my chips on the table with my soda can for about 1 hour while I went to the hot tub. I have not had any bad experiences there except this. It's a very nice and quiet place to stay. Just don't leave your food out at all. Cleanliness was decent other than the bottom of the garbage cans, which were filthy. Whoever is cleaning the rooms needs some talking to I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't need the bag that was in the trash can, both bathroom and kitchen cans. Also, there are lots of crumbs on the side of the stove/oven.
