Exceptional
Liked: Exceptional Service by Zeno Made Our Stay Truly MemorableOur recent 7-day stay at Hotel Victory Galou in central Paris was a wonderful experience, made truly exceptional thanks to Zeno, the receptionist at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, Zeno impressed us with his professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help at every step.During our stay, we encountered an unexpected situation when our return flight was cancelled, and we needed to extend our accommodation. Despite the hotel being almost fully booked due to high demand, Zeno went above and beyond to ensure that we had a room. His calm and courteous handling of the situation eased our stress significantly and allowed us to enjoy the extra day in Paris without worry.The hotel itself is well-located—right in the heart of Paris and close to a prominent Metro station, which made commuting around the city very convenient for our family. The staff overall were friendly and efficient, but it was Zeno’s personal touch that truly stood out and made our stay memorable.We are sincerely thankful for his support and care, and we wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Victory Galou to anyone visiting Paris—especially for the outstanding service by team members like Zeno.

Very simple, but clean and...
Liked: Very friendly staff, very simple, but clean, functional room. It is a one-star hotel, don't forget, so no elevator. Small bathroom, but shower and everything else worked just fine. Beds are good. Beautiful flowers outside the window, when you open the window to a very quite small side street.

Disappointing
Liked: The employees were very polite and generous , the hotel is very close to the metro station. The area around the hotel is bad and kind of dangerous.

Horrible but okay location
Liked: How close it is to the metro station and the train station.
Disliked: - the room wasn’t clean when we arrived- the bathroom smells horribly and is moldy - the people are not very welcoming - forced to leave our keys at the entry so “cleaners” can come in without your consent - the lights are a hassle to use
